THE SUITE LIFE AT THE PIERRE NYC

For over 85 years, The iconic Pierre has set the standard for timeless elegance and unrivaled hospitality in New York city. Coco Chanel always stayed at this suite (it was even the hotel she stayed at on here very first trip to NYC!). Even Audrey Hepburn resided in these suites with while filming Breakfast at Tiffanys. And it gets even better, Valentino, Hubert De Givenchy, Yves St Laurent, and Karl Lagerfeld also loved staying here on their NYC visits. Get this, the designer for Valentino even resided in the Pierre's private co-op residence, and Tory Burch is a current resident. The stunning ballroom is still the premier destination for the Women's Wear Daily Awards, L'Oreals Women of Worth Awards, and the Pirelli calendar launch.

This hotel is breathtaking all around, and I am so excited to share my top 5 reasons why you need to book your stay ASAP.

5 Reasons to not leave the Pierre

1. Parisian Feels //

I am such a sucker for gorgeous decor, and the Pierre is absolutely breathtaking. When you first walk through the classic revolving doors and step into the lobby, your eyes don't know what to stare (and drool) at first. Mine landed right on the incredible chandeliers and the classic black and white floors. The vintage luggage carts and bell hops completed the vintage vibe the Pierre gives off. After checking in, we headed over to the elevators and were greeted by the nicest elevator attendants. We headed up to the 38th floor, and got settled into out room. We couldnt stop staring out the window at the incredible Central Park view. This is truly a million dollar view if I ever did see one. Once we peeled ourselves away from the view, we saw the gorgeous pink marble shower.. I mean how stunning! You all know I love me some pinks its safe to say I am obsessed with this bathroom. 2. Royal Treatment //

As bloggers, @JamiAlix and I had several packages sent to the hotel, and the staff were amazing about accepting them, and even bringing them up to the room for us. I cant express my gratitude toward the Pierre staff enough, they were so sweet and helpful and paid attention to every detail of our stay. Upon checkout, I was gifted with a Central Park tree seed to plant in my backyard so I can have a piece on NYC with me at my home in California :)

3. Prime Destination: Proximity to the Good Stuff //

When booking a hotel, it is essential to consider the locations proximity to all the fun stuff you plan to do while in town (duh). The Pierre is in walking distance of iconic 5th Ave, so you are minutes from the most incredible shopping. Another iconic location at your doorstep is Central Park, which is breathtaking when it's covered in a blanket of snow. Both Rockefeller Center and the Lincoln Center are within 15 minutes of the Pierre, so you can get your tourist fix satisfied. If you're in town for photo-ops, being this close to everything makes shooting content that much easier and that much more fun. BLOGGERS take note :)

4. Photoshoot Heaven

Vogue has a long history of shooting at the Pierre, dating back all the way to the 1970's (for obvious reasons). The iconic tango scene from Al Pacino's film "Scent of a Woman" was filmed in the Pierre's Cotillion ballroom.

We shot some images in the most beautiful room with painted ceilings, it honestly looked like we were at a museum. I was pinching myself.

5. Foodie //

We dined at the iconic Perrine, the Pierre's official restaurant located inside the hotel. I loved how the menu featured the exact dishes that were on their menu when they opened in 1930. The Perrine is HUGE on reducing their carbon footprint, and they source their ingredients locally for fresh and delicious meals. Executive chef Ashfer Biju treated us to the most decadent meal I've had yet, the cauliflower flat bread was to die for! I got the flier mignon with a summer salad and my taste buds were singing! I'm counting down the days until my next visit xo
